DOCANTIC, Inc, located in Los Angeles, CA ("DOCANTIC") provides the DOCANTIC.COM website and related internet services (the "Services"), which are offered under the following terms and conditions.
This User Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you, the user of the Services, and DOCANTIC.
By accessing or using the DOCANTIC.COM website, purchasing access, registering for an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by this User Agreement.

DOCANTIC may limit the frequency of searches or data access as necessary without liability. Excessively automated queries via bots or scripts are prohibited.
SECTION 3: USER AGREEMENTS
By using the Services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into this User Agreement.
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account credentials.
DOCANTIC makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate data, but makes no guarantees about the absolute correctness of all information in its databases. Some data is manually entered and may contain occasional errors.
SECTION 4: SITE CONTENT
The Services provide proprietary databases compiled by DOCANTIC containing art, market, and documentation data.
DOCANTIC processes and enters data manually on a reasonable efforts basis, but makes no guarantees about complete accuracy. Users are encouraged to verify key details against original source documentation.
Access is provided through DAY and MONTH subscription packages with different usage limits. Automated data collection is prohibited.
While we endeavor to identify and respect all copyright associated with photographs and their subjects presented on this site, challenges may arise due to the historical nature, unavailable original sources, or the anonymity of such sources.

SECTION 7: PAYMENT TERMS
Access to paid portions of the Services requires the purchase of subscriptions or usage credits. Unused credits expire if not used within 365 days on an active account.
DOCANTIC reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with rejected payments. Monthly subscriptions auto-renew until canceled in accordance with stated procedures.
SECTION 8: ACCOUNT USE
Accounts are for the sole personal use of the registered user. Simultaneous logins from multiple devices are prohibited.
Users may not transfer, sublicense, sell, or share their account credentials or downloaded data with any third party.
Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund. DOCANTIC reserves the right to recover damages from fraudulent account misuse.

SECTION 11: GOVERNING LAW
This User Agreement shall be governed by California law. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Los Angeles, California for disputes arising from this Agreement.
DOCANTIC ADVERTISEMENT USER AGREEMENT
SECTION 1: AGREEMENT SCOPE
This User Agreement governs the relationship and commercial transactions between DOCANTIC, Inc. ("DOCANTIC") and advertisers ("Advertisers") on the DOCANTIC.COM website and services ("Services").
DOCANTIC may amend this Agreement by posting changes online. The version in effect at the time an Advertiser places an order will apply.
SECTION 2: ADVERTISING SERVICES
DOCANTIC agrees to publish Advertiser's submissions on the Services, subject to compliance with this User Agreement. By submitting content or confirming order details, Advertiser accepts the terms herein.
SECTION 3: ADVERTISER RESPONSIBILITIES
Advertisers are solely responsible for their submissions, claims, and any offered products or services. Publication by DOCANTIC does not constitute endorsement or verification.
Advertisers represent they have all needed rights for their submissions, and that they comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies. Prohibited content may be removed without notice or refund.
SECTION 4: LICENSE TO USE
Advertiser grants DOCANTIC a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, and display their submissions to the extent needed to provide the Services. This includes licensing content to third party partners and service providers as needed.
SECTION 5: INDEMNIFICATION
Advertiser agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DOCANTIC, its affiliates, directors, officers, agents and employees from any third party claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from: (a) Advertiser’s breach of this Agreement; or (b) Advertiser’s violation of any laws, regulations, or third party rights.
SECTION 6: DISCLAIMERS
DOCANTIC merely provides a publishing platform and makes no warranties or guarantees regarding any Advertiser content, products, services, or information.
The parties are independent contractors. DOCANTIC does not mediate sales or control product quality, legality, seller representations, buyer qualifications, or the ability of parties to complete transactions.
Advertiser assumes full liability for their submissions and listings. Under no circumstances will DOCANTIC be liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from or related to Advertiser's use of the Services.
SECTION 7: PRIVACY
DOCANTIC will handle all Advertiser data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at [URL], and applicable laws. Advertiser agrees to provide accurate registration information.
SECTION 8: GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by California law. The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Los Angeles, California for any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement.
DOCANTIC BOOKSHOP USER AGREEMENT
SECTION 1: AGREEMENT SCOPE
This User Agreement governs transactions made through the DOCANTIC.COM online bookstore ("Bookstore") between DOCANTIC, Inc. ("DOCANTIC") and Bookstore clients ("Client").
DOCANTIC may amend this Agreement by posting changes on the Bookstore website.
SECTION 2: ORDER PROCESSING
DOCANTIC agrees to process Client orders under the terms of this User Agreement, subject to item availability.
By placing an order, Client accepts this Agreement. Client represents that they are an individual using the Bookstore only for personal use. Automated ordering systems are prohibited.
SECTION 3: PRICING
Posted prices do not include applicable shipping, handling, duties, or taxes, which are additional. Pricing is displayed in USD but billed based on Client's currency, so final charges may vary.
SECTION 4: PAYMENT
Purchases require upfront payment by valid credit card or other payment method accepted by DOCANTIC. Applicable credits will be deducted from Client's account balance.
SECTION 5: SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Physical items will ship to the address specified after receipt of payment. Shipping dates are estimates only. Client assumes shipping risk after DOCANTIC hands off parcel to the carrier.
SECTION 6: RETURNS
Client may return eligible physical items within 14 days of receipt for a refund. Items must be in original condition. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. Digital products cannot be returned.
SECTION 7: DISCLAIMERS
DOCANTIC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding books sold. Descriptions and images are for reference only.
SECTION 8: SELLING THROUGH DOCANTIC
Clients may offer documents for sale or lease through DOCANTIC. Sale terms are negotiated individually in writing between the parties.
Client affirms they hold all required rights to sell or lease the works. Documents must ship to DOCANTIC per Article 6 prior to payment. Shipping costs are covered by DOCANTIC for purchases.
SECTION 9: DISCLAIMERS
DOCANTIC provides services on a reasonable efforts basis but makes no guarantees of achievement. DOCANTIC disclaims all liability for failure to meet contractual obligations due to unforeseen circumstances outside its control.
SECTION 10: PRIVACY
DOCANTIC handles all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at [URL]. Client consents to data usage required for Bookstore transactions and operations.
SECTION 11: GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by California law. The parties consent to Los Angeles, California courts for disputes arising from this Agreement.
DOCANTIC SUBMISSION SERVICE AGREEMENT
SECTION 1: SERVICE SCOPE
This Agreement governs the submission service provided by DOCANTIC that allows clients to submit items for identification by the DOCANTIC community.
SECTION 2: SUBMISSION RULES
Submissions must meet category and content guidelines. DOCANTIC reviews and may edit or remove submissions without notice. The service cannot be used for advertising purposes.
SECTION 3: PRICING AND PAYMENT
A fixed submission fee is charged per item, payable online. Pricing displayed in currencies other than USD is approximate. Client is responsible for currency conversion fees.
SECTION 4: REFUNDS
If no identification is made within 180 days, Client may request a refund under certain conditions, minus transfer fees. Refunds are not provided after a second free reposting period.
SECTION 5: PROOF REQUIREMENTS
To claim rewards, proofs must contain verifiable documentation from original printed sources. DOCANTIC reviews proofs for compliance.
SECTION 6: DISCLAIMERS
DOCANTIC provides reasonable efforts but does not guarantee identification or accuracy. DOCANTIC is not liable for any failure to identify submissions or community errors.
SECTION 7: PRIVACY
DOCANTIC handles all personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at [URL]. Client consents to necessary data usage and email communications.
SECTION 8: GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by California law. The parties consent to jurisdiction in Los Angeles, California courts.
